The workflow portion of Impact is designed to Guide, Restrict, and Trigger account activity based on a variety of factors. Within this document we will discuss their configuration and application within the system.

Once the Work Flow Rules option is selected, the following window is displayed
Work Flow Rule Maintenance Window
|Exit -||Navigates back to the main IMPACT window without making any changes.|
|Add -||Creates a new record.|
|Edit -||Modify an existing record.|
|Delete -||Removes an existing record.|
|Print -||Prints the record list to the print queue.|

|Work Flow Description -||User Defined Description of the Work Flow Rule|
|Elpased Days On this Work Flow -||is simply the number of days on the Work Flow. Activate New Work Flow is the new work flow code that will be placed on the account. When using this feature it is important to note your next work flow in the sequence needs to be already set up. Because of this, it is advisable to map your work flow plan out before starting and to set the last work flow in the series up first.|
|Activate New Work Flow -||triggering a new Work Flow from an Existing Work Flow|
|SQ -||sequence line by sequence line until they qualify for the first valid set of parameters. That line then carries the parameters which guide the account. The Qualification elements are as follows:|
|From Refl to Thru Refl -||
From Refl – This is the low value of the range in this sequence of Principle Balance referred to the Agency(Required).
Thru Refl - This is the high value of the range in this sequence of Principle Balance referred to the Agency (Required).
|Status -||This is the current status of an account during the daily processing of the Work Flow(Not Required).|
|Class -||This is the Status Class of an account during the daily processing of the Work Flow(Not Required).|
|MinLtr -||Minimum number of letters to be sent on this Work Flow.|
|Maximum number of letters to be sent on this Work Flow.|
|MinWrk -||The minimum number of work attempts for this Work Flow.|
|MaxWrk -||The maximum number of work attempts for this Work Flow.|
|MinCntc -||This evaluates whether the minimum number of Contacts have been achieved. A “no” value will have the effect of pulling accounts that have NOT met the minimum number of contacts. A “yes” value will select those which HAVE met the minimum value.|
|MaxCntc -||This evaluates whether the minimum number of attempts have been achieved. A “no” value will have the effect of pulling accounts that have NOT met the minimum number of attempts. A “yes” value will select those which HAVE met the minimum value.|
|CrRpt -||This restricts the ordering of Credit Reports while on this Work Flow. These apply to all result codes with Activity Types C1, C2, C3 and C4. A “Yes” value ALLOWS credit reports to be ordered, a “NO” value blocks credit reports from being ordered.|
This restricts the ordering of Skip Trace Requests while on this Work Flow. These apply to all result codes with Activity Types S0 thru S9. A “Yes” value ALLOWS skip trace requests to be ordered, a “No” value BLOCKS skip trace requests from being ordered.
|Less Than % Clct -||If the percentage collected on the account relative to the Original Principle Referred is less than this value then the #DaysFromRefl is evaluated|
|#DaysFrom Refl -||is the number of days elapsed from the referral date. The Value must be EQUAL to or GREATER than this value for it to evaluate True.|
|#DaysLastPmt -||is the number of days since the last payment was applied to an account. If no payments have ever been applied this will never evaluate as True.|
|From Amt Due -||is the low value of that range|
|Thru Amt Due -||is the high value of that range|
|ResCd -||This is the Result Code that will fire when triggered. When setting up the result code, you must choose type WF – Work Flow Process. ONLY these types of result codes will appear as an option in the drop-down display.|
Desk Series Rule is the Desk Assignment Rule Code you can choose to redistribute accounts based on the triggering event. There are NO special setup requirements for the Desk Assignment Rule.
