There are 3 basic steps to any EDI import/update process as illustrated below:
Step 1: Select data source to import file.
Step 2: Map fields from external file to IMPACT internal fields.
- Account fields
- Demographic fields
- Bankruptcy fields
- Legal Case fields
- Legal Case Party fields
- Transactions fields
- Phone, Zip, Tasks, Credit Report fields
- Custom User Defined fields
(Mapping will be shown in a later lesson).
Step 3: Evaluate the incoming data in transit from file with EDI IMPORT SODs that evaluates and filters wanted data for final data import.
