The EDI Export process can export any type of data in virtually any format and/or type of record file layout. The creation of an Electronic Data Interface (“EDI”) EXPORT interface requires a template to store all the parameters and definitions for a specific export very much like the import.
The EDI Manager will display a list of IMPORT & EXPORT templates. You can add a new template by pressing the “+” button or edit by selecting the template desired and double clicking on it.
Here’s the basic flow for an EDI Data Export:

Once the EDI screen is open you will find the UI divided into 3 different sections (output, parameters, and filters/mappings) illustrated below:
